WUSB11 v2.5 with Host AP?

Has anyone tried using this driver with the Linksys WUSB11 v2.5? I have a laptop with pcmcia, but if I need to update firmware or something it would be difficult as I have no Windows systems with PCMCIA. So, I have been checking into USB wireless and the WUSB11 looks nice. Anyone had any luck?
