ARM platform tested

Just an informational... HostAP works swimmingly on the Tuxscreen
(aka Shannon), a StrongArm 1100 at 130MHz. The slots natively
only support 3.3v but can with four solders support 5v instead.
(And with a bunch more soldering and a few components will
support VoIP too.) A fun little emb. platform to play with.

I'm slowly getting more stuff onto the box, and it's pretty clear all the OpenAP stuff will work without problem.

One odd thing is that the interrupt load interferes amazingly with the unit's touchscreen. It's fine without network traffic, but as the network saturates, the display's usability degrades to zero.

I stress-tested the machine with pingfloods and ftp transfers to the point where I could see packets being dropped and NOT the proc wedged... though it did climb to a load of .6 and there was a bit of this crap in the logs (which I would clean up before deploying on a small flash filesystem):

I suppose there would be a way to do with the SA watchdog what the OpenAP people did with the Elan that may improve performance?
