Epitest's Finn Chamber business acquired by SmartPractice®

It is our pleasure to announce that Curt Hamann, M.D., and his wife Dr. Beth Hamann,
D.D.S., through their family of companies operating under the SmartPractice®®
umbrella and headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, have acquired Epitest's business
relating to Finn Chamber® products from Laila Malinen and her family.
Finn Chamber was developed by professor Veikko Pirilä, a founding member of
the International Contact Dermatitis Research Group. After more than 30 years of
operating this business within her family, Laila determined it to be a good time
to make a transition to Curt and his family who are committed to helping consumers
and doctors solve Allergic Contact Dermatitis problems around the globe. Together
with True Test® manufacturing and allergEAZE® distribution through SmartPractice®
Canada, the addition of Finn Chamber products (the recognized leading chambers for
epicutaneous testing) for global distribution makes SmartPractice®
the most integrated solution provider.
Curt's interest in Allergic Contact Dermatitis is demonstrated by his authorship
of dozens of articles on the subject, contribution in dermatology reference books
and conduction of clinical trials on latex sensitivity. He has a passion for diagnosing
and solving health issues and getting people back to work.
Laila and her team will remain in place in Tuusula with the new company SmartPractice®
Finland Oy for an extended period of time in order to manage a seamless transition
