Finn Chamber Tray
Application Tray for Finn Chamber Test Technique
- Keeps the test strips in good order (4-6 strips per tray)
- Stackable - saves space on work surface
- Saves time as each semisolid test substance can be dispensed for several trays (patients)
consecutively without opening and closing the syringe in between
Instructions
Filling the chambers

For general advice, see the instruction sheet for Finn Chambers
on Scanpor. You can fill the chambers in normal reading order by keeping the strips
as shown in figure. Fill in strips 1-2 (test substances 1-20). Turn the tray 180°
and fill in strips 3-4 (test substances 21-40). The middle area can be used for
additional strips.
Identification
The tray may be marked e.g. by tape flags, which can be attached on the side of
the tray.
Stacking the trays
Several trays can be stacked. Be careful not to push the bottom of a tray on the
tapes or test substances underneath. For a little higher distance between the trays
turn every other tray 180°. Cover the stack with an empty tray.
Note
- The tray should be used for short-period storage (a few hours) only.
- Keep
the filled chambers covered and at room temperature, not in the refrigerator. Cold
tape does not adhere well and the test substances may be affected by the humidity.
-
Liquid test substances must be dispensed (using filter paper discs) just before
applying the tests onto the skin, as dryness may cause weak or false negative reactions.
Material
The tray is made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
Package size
5 trays
